Volunteer Supporters

Information about how to become an official volunteer supporter for The Haven

The Haven is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in New York, USA.

We are looking for volunteer supporters to donate their time, in exchange for volunteer hours and references. Volunteer supporters are expected to take several support sessions every week, with a minimum time of 1 hour per week. You would work closely with our head support and support admin and receive advice and guidance from the Team. Since we are above all a peer support server, this position is critical to our success as a community.

The supporter role is still self assignable. You do not have to apply to offer support. The application is only relevant if you wish to receive volunteer hours, etc. and become a member of the staff.

If you would like to donate your time in other ways, you can make art for our instagram account or write articles for our blog, for instance. All work will be considered official volunteer work and be eligible to put on a resume.
